The human condition can truly be described as Jesus does here in Matthew 11:25-30: we are weary, burdened, heavy-laden in life. It's only when we admit this to be our true condition, does Jesus' breathtaking invitation to rest personally address us. Whether you are coming to Jesus for the first time, or a seasoned follower of Christ, his offer to this rest always stands.
