Through Psalm 103, we learn from King David how to praise God with our inmost being by not forgetting how He has forgiven us and actually removed our transgressions, how He has redeemed our life from the pit, and how He has crowned us with love and comopassion. By commanding ourselves to praise God, we can actually experience a change in our emotions and be more joyful. And true praise results in a surrendering of our lives before our holy God.
