Psalm 73 - Wash Away the Bitterness

November 23, 2008 - Pastor Ed Kang

When we remain in our bitterness and envy, we become senseless and ignorant and we forget all of God's blessings in our lives. Thanksgiving ought to wash away this bitterness. It is when the psalmist enters into the sanctuary of God that he is able to snap out of his downward spiral of thinking and come back to his senses. God does not owe us a good life, and actually, no matter how far we wander, He has a tight grip on us. He holds on to us and leads us into His glory eventually. So on this Thanksgiving Sunday, let’s give God thanks for his steadfastness and his faithfulness.
