How well do you think you know yourself? We could think we know ourselves very well... until something happens to reveal what we're really made of, as Jesus exemplified in the parable of the wise and foolish builders. But even when such circumstances occur, how do we respond to evidence about ourselves? Do we even seek truth about ourselves to begin with? Or do we stick with our own view of ourselves, like the Pharisee in Luke 18:9-14? Let us instead seek God's reality of who we are.
