Today's culture defines freedom exactly how the devil got Eve to understand it: the throwing off of rules, domains, boundaries, and to be "free" to define our own lives. What the devil still often succeeds in doing is to blind us to the fact that the Creator God created life to flourish abundantly, and that boundaries that He defines are what make anything, especially relationships, meaningful. Love, sacrifice, loyalty--all are defined by the words from Genesis 2:16-17: "You are free to... but you must not." To have the freedom to do whatever you want, yet choosing not to... THAT is true freedom.
