Where the Love Lasts Forever

February 14, 2010 - Pastor Ed Kang

Luke 16:19-31 describes the parable of a rich man who dies, and finds himself too late asking for mercy upon himself, as well as a supernatural showing to his family for their conversion. Jesus shares this parable, as well as the parable of the rich fool (Luke 12:16-21) to serve as a warning to not allow the good things of this relatively short life to blind us from seeking what is of eternal importance. What excuses do we make to keep from committing ourselves completely to the only things that are eternal? Let us not end up the fool.
